People with thet of weather control - weather, hail, rain, frost
People with thet of weather control - weather, hail, rain, frost

In the old days, various peoples had special people who, from birth, had the ability to predict the weather and influence it. In the Hutsul legends there are stories about how two city dwellers fight among themselves, determining on whose village a cloud with hail should fall

It was also possible to become a grader by entering into an alliance with a warlock, taking possession of a wonderful staff or candle … When the storm approached, the grader ran in circles, waving his arms, baptizing the clouds with three straws, uttering a spell, ringing the bells. The grader could twice refuse the leader of the storm (say, the devil) who came to him for permission to pour hail, and only the third time he allowed to pour hail somewhere far from dwellings, gardens, crops - onto the road, into a ravine …

Today weather forecasting is still difficult, time consuming and often ungrateful. The most powerful supercomputers process data from thousands of meteorological stations, satellites are constantly circling over the planet, trying to catch the moment of the onset of a hurricane, scientists of the largest scientific centers are developing theories of the development of atmospheric processes - and still the storm suddenly falls even on Moscow, not to mention provincial towns and villages … Perhaps forecasters are missing some factors that affect the weather, if not on a global, but on a local scale? Yuri Zilbert included human consciousness among such factors.

Exiled to Voronezh almost simultaneously with Mandelstam, he, a promising scientist specializing in nuclear physics, settled in the village of Ramon, where he got a job as a teacher of physics, labor and physical education. A man of encyclopedic knowledge, who corresponded with such luminaries of science as Bohr, Heisenberg and Rutherford, Silbert was distinguished by amazing optimism, indefatigable diligence and irrepressible curiosity. Transferred from the academic environment to the boondocks, he not only did not give up, but, on the contrary, began to work with tripled energy. Having changed the field of activity, he did not change the course of action, approaching everything seriously, devoting himself to work completely, without a trace.

Meeting with the famous agronomists Mazlumov, Kozopolyansky and Lanier, he repeatedly heard complaints from their lips about the instability and unpredictability of weather conditions, which prevents him from obtaining stable, guaranteed yields. Reading the chronicle of droughts, he drew attention to the following: formerly exhausted by the bad weather, the villagers, driven to extremes, staged a procession - and the result was often more than satisfactory. Using statistical methods of calculation, Silbert found that the change in weather after the procession could not be explained by coincidence. Perhaps, he decided, the combined will of dozens and hundreds of people influences the weather.

Local residents told Zilbert about an old woman who lives in the village of Galkino and is known among the inhabitants as a witch: if she gets angry with someone in the area, then lightning often falls into the house or shed of the object of anger. Silbert himself interviewed the two victims. They admitted that they were with Fominichna (that was the name of the old woman) in a quarrel, and in a thunderstorm, lightning struck one - the house, the second - a chicken coop. And on the contrary, if there is no rain in the neighborhood for a long time, you need to bow to Fominichna with a chicken or a goose, and the rain will soon pour over the fields of the gifts of those who bring. Silbert met an old woman.

Fominichna greeted him warmly, she is always happy for a good person, the rain - yes, the rain sometimes manages to lure, but what sends lightning to people is in vain. It's just that a bad person himself attracts lightning, but it has nothing to do with it.

The old woman was clearly on her mind, and when Silbert brought her a large box of chocolates, she smiled slyly and warned the teacher not to come too close to the dry willow tree that grew at the turn to Ramon when leaving Galkin.

Silbert heeded the warning, and not in vain: upon his departure, the sky darkened in a matter of minutes, and at the moment when he approached the indicated place, lightning struck the tree and scorched a willow. Immediately the clouds cleared away, and the whole next week there was a bucket.

Extremely interested, Silbert began to inquire about whether there were people in the past who could control the weather. The answer was yes! But their fate is unenviable. Many trials of sorcerers and witches ended deplorably for the defendants: with the death penalty, at best with exile. So, already in 1699, it would seem, during the enlightened time of the reign of Tsar Peter I, Nikolai Golitsyn was exiled to Tobolsk for "the indecent arrangement of a thunderstorm during the great celebrations". Since then, strange and frightening events began to occur in the Siberian city, called by chroniclers "air fears":

“May 8th 7213 (AD 1702) (here is an error: May 7213 from the creation of the world corresponds to 1704 from the birth of Christ. - Ed.), On the day of John the Theologian, in Tobolsk, during playing a comedy, a violent storm rising from a cloud, and broke the cross over the oltar of the Cathedral Church, also from the Sergius Church all the top with a poppy and a cross … ; “On November 20th, 7214 (AD 1706), it was evident in Tobolsk: at the end of the 4th of the night, in the middle of heaven, in the air, a white scroll fell out in the air,, near the porch; and suddenly a man appeared, from him four fiery sparks flew up separately and copulated into place, and after a small minute everything disappeared; at the same time, a cloud and thunder struck with a great rattle for about two hours. And the fire for the provincial house …”(the spelling of the original), - wrote in the“Siberian Chronicle”the Tobolsk scribe and instructor Cherepanov.

What a scribe, there is a testimony of the poet Boris Pasternak from the summer of 1907: “The other day the Mamontovs played Beethoven's symphony in four hands. We played well. A thunderstorm was about to come. In the fourth movement there is a long period that goes crescendo to the peak of dissonance … This climax is taken by fortissimo. And at that moment the first thunder rolled, dull, but terrible, simultaneously with the chord … It is impossible to convey …"

The energy that a person is able to release is insignificant in comparison with the energy of a thunderstorm. But a human scream is sometimes enough to cause a devastating avalanche. Forces accumulate in nature, man only provokes their release. A similar phenomenon can be defined as the triggering effect According to Silbert, the human brain somehow falls into resonance with nature, and then it is able to command lightning. In some people, the ability to get into resonance is great from birth, but under certain conditions it can be developed in many.

Silbert shared his reasoning with his students, and they have come down to us only in retellings. Leonid Parinov, a Ramon old-timer, recalls: “Sometimes during a lesson, when a thunderstorm was approaching, Yuri Arkadyevich would come to the window and snapped his fingers. At the same instant, lightning struck a lightning rod installed on a stone water tower …"

Silbert wrote to his colleagues in Moscow about the ability to control the weather. For this or another reason, but on a September evening in 1939, a car drove up to the teacher's house, in which Yuri Arkadyevich Zilbert was taken away - first to Voronezh, and then to one of the special laboratories, which, on the eve of the war, forged the weapon of Victory.

In the autumn of 1941, when Hitler's troops were approaching Moscow, unusually severe frosts hit. The vaunted German equipment was out of order, the soldiers were freezing. And after the frost, the Red Army struck …

BY THE WAY

And nowadays there are magicians - the most ordinary people at first glance, who have an amazing ability to disperse clouds in inclement weather, pacify hurricanes, call lightning with a wave of the hand, start and stop rain and snow …

One of such "special" people is Ivan Ivanovich Kulebyakin, an honorary member of the Order of Sorcerers, bachelor of the Russian branch of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

For the first time, Vanya learned about his gift, while still in an orphanage near Yaroslavl: “When I was 6 years old, there was a strong hurricane. The trees were uprooted … Everyone was afraid, but some force carried me out into the street … I raised my hands up and stood like that for a while … Literally in 7-8 minutes the hurricane died down …"

Ivan Ivanovich demonstrated to those interested a cassette on which the process of "dispersing the clouds" was clearly captured. Under the influence of Kulebyakin's passes, a weighty cloud in the sky almost instantly melts, as if it were being erased with an eraser … In May 1992, the famous showman Igor Mikitasov turned to Ivan Ivanovich. He arranged in the Hermitage garden in honor of the celebration of Bulgakov's jubilee the spring night ball of the Full Moon, or the Ball of a Hundred Kings.

The sky that evening was covered with clouds, the moon still did not appear. And then at midnight, Kulebyakin, dressed in a green cloak and mask, with a tame dove on his shoulder, was put in the basket of a balloon and solemnly raised above the garden. He "parted" the clouds, and the moon and stars shone from the sky … There was no end to the delight of the audience.

More than once I had to "make" the weather in other cities. In August 1992, Kulebyakin "kept" the sun in Crimea for two weeks during the Magic Alushta International Festival of Magicians.

Ivan Ivanovich once arrived in Perm on the eve of local elections. On November 27, there were no snowflakes on the streets, the weather was chilly and slushy. He waved his hands - and after 15 minutes it started snowing. And on December 1, the day of elections, a real winter reigned …

At a symposium in Sochi, in front of everyone, Kulebyakin caused rain from one cloud, erased another, and took the third somewhere … After that, fellow magicians called him the "forest sorcerer." In his youth, Ivan Kulebyakin worked at Mosfilm. Having learned about his abilities, the filmmakers invited Ivan to the shooting to “do” the weather. And in order to include it in the estimate of the film crew, they gave cameo roles. So he starred in the films "Iron Curtain", "Poem of Wings". In the film "Ermak" played the Cossack chieftain Gorshka. More than once he was invited to shoot radio and television programs. Once, while Radio Rakurs was on the air, on December 17, 1995, he caused a "custom-made" thunderstorm and heavy snowfall and stopped it all after half an hour.
