Stone boxes, dolmens, stone pillars of menhirs, stone complexes of blocks laid in circles of cromlech: these are different types of megaliths and these are the oldest material evidence of collective human activity. Especially many of them were found in the Black Sea region - from the Crimea to the Caucasus
On the peninsula, according to archaeological research, even 150-200 years ago, the number of megalithic structures was in the thousands, which indicates a long and systematic work on their creation. But, unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of them were destroyed in one twentieth century by wars and human ignorance. In search of the preserved dolmens of the Eastern Black Sea region and traces of the existence of the "Crimean Atlantis", the expedition of researchers of the "Conspiracy Theory" project visited the Caucasus.
“Scientists insist that megalithic technologies came to Crimea about four to five thousand years ago from the North-West Caucasus, already formed and even in the initial stage of decline,” the director tells Segodnya. Denis Symonenko … - For example, Taurus boxes are smaller and simpler than Caucasian dolmens, and they are not made so masterly, which means - technologies, albeit related, but not advanced.
As if they were simply copied by the Crimean residents. The Caucasus was more fortunate than the Crimea - there megalithic structures have survived to this day in a multitude and variety. And in order to understand how the Crimean and Caucasian regions intersect in the field of ancient construction technologies and to see what the disappeared Crimean dolmens looked like, we set off along the path of the Argonauts - to the northern shores of Colchis”.
Historians of antiquity were sure that the Crimean mountains are a direct continuation of the Caucasian ones - there was so much in common between them both geographically (a large mountain range is really common for these regions from a geological point of view), and in connection with the presence of megalithic structures. Actually Taurus, from which later the name of the Crimea - Tavrika, Tavrida - was called in ancient times both the Crimean mountains and the Caucasus mountains. In this regard, it should be noted the cave cities in general, located along the Inner ridge of the Crimean Mountains. This is the most important evidence of systematic and systematic stone construction in antiquity, and with the help of technologies, which have been arguing for more than one generation of scientists.
“In the Caucasus, in contrast to the Crimea, local legends about the appearance and purpose of megaliths have been preserved. In particular, dolmens, - says Dmitry Smirnov, one of the authors of The Conspiracy Theory. - The fact that dolmens served as a gateway to another world is told by a Celtic legend associated with a fairy people - elves, whose ancestral home, according to the legend of the Celts, was the North Caucasus.
A Caucasian legend told by local residents - Circassians, says that dolmens are the dwellings of small Isps people who rode on hares. And, interestingly, these stone birdhouses were built by the giants. However, looking at the 10-ton, and sometimes even 20-ton boulders that make up the dolmens, this version seems the most plausible. And, by the way, it was this that was voiced by the first dolmen explorers in the middle of the 17th century. However, given that archaeologists have not yet provided evidence of the existence of giants and midgets in the past, other versions have to be considered.
According to the assumption of archaeologist Yuri Voronov, “the breaking of slabs in ancient quarries was carried out with the help of wooden pegs driven into holes, hollowed out along a contour drawn in advance on the surface of the rock. The pegs were poured with water: swelling, they broke off slabs of the required size. Then, with the help of rollers (of equal shape of logs), ropes, human and bovine strength, they dragged the material to the chosen corner, where the dolmen would be erected. However, this theory has significant drawbacks.
Firstly, there are no traces of stone splitting and processing on the blocks, while the ornament has been preserved. And secondly, it is difficult to imagine how over the mountains and gorges, with the help of bulls, large-tonnage blocks were dragged for several kilometers, because no quarries were found near the dolmens. By the way, while the walls of the ancient structures were dismantled into building stone, the dolmens remained intact.
From a practical point of view, this was done due to the non-transportability of the blocks to the nearest settlements. Some dolmens of the Caucasus are generally made in the rock, and not from separate slabs - as if they were cut out inside a huge stone, and there are no obvious traces of processing with tools on it.
The plastic version is also supported by the bas-reliefs on the facades of dolmens, which cannot be created without grinding the entire surface of the stone around them. And also stones of a bizarre shape found there, similar to a solidified mass emerging from the earth's depths, like the mud volcanoes of the Kerch Peninsula.
Where one should first of all look for traces of ancient civilizations - it is on Mount Khara-Khora in Kabardino-Balkaria. According to one of the versions, the five stone cones towering on the top of the mountain are artificially created pyramids, covered with earth after some kind of cataclysm. Climbing the plateau, we found whole rows of menhirs lined up along one of the gorges, and boulders clearly worked by a human hand, scattered along the slopes of the mountain …

7,000-year-old Ostrich Egg Questions The Official Age Of The Egyptian Pyramids
According to modern archaeologists, the Cheops pyramid, the main pyramid of Giza, is about 4600 years old. The other pyramids of Giza date back to almost the same period. However, since the pyramids are made of stone, traditional carbon-14 dating methods cannot be used to determine their age. In fact, there are still no good ways to determine exactly when ancient stone structures were built by examining the structures themselves - you always have to rely on
In The North Caucasus, A Female Yeti Molested Men
A sensational incident took place in the Chegem Gorge in the North Caucasus - researchers found unexpected evidence of the existence of a "Bigfoot" there. Local residents admitted that the female yeti - here such wild creatures are called Almasty - not only went out to people, but also tried to have sexual intercourse. In the vicinity of the village of Elbrus, according to local residents, this autumn and winter we have seen such mysterious creatures more than once. - There are many abandoned sheds left, - rass
Found A Man-made Cave In The Caucasus?
An ancient structure, comparable in scale with the pyramids of Giza, was discovered in the North Caucasus. We are used to thinking that the main megaliths of the planet are concentrated in Egypt, South America, and China. Our dolmens, which are conventionally ranked as megalithic structures, look like dwarfs against the background of pyramids and "great walls"
Yellow Rain Fell Over The Caucasus
Residents of several districts of Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia saw yellow rain today. People's clothes, cars, leaves on the trees were covered with a yellow coating. In turn, in the hydrometeorological station of the Sheki region, it is difficult to determine the composition of the precipitation, the Republican Hydrometeorological Center reported. It is noted that to determine the composition of the precipitation, special samples were taken, which were sent for analysis to the laboratory of the Republican Hydrometeorological
I Saw Bigfoot Several Times In The Caucasus
In the early 1980s, I went on a hiking trip to the Caucasus. Not long before that, students of the Zaporozhye Machine-Building Institute had visited it. It turns out that they accidentally drove Bigfoot out of the bear cave, who is sometimes called Almasty in the Caucasus. [advert] They did not have time to photograph it, only the cave itself and the huge footprints left by the hominid in the snow were filmed. It was with these students that I went to the place where they saw the Almasts. I didn’t expect us to be lucky
