Indian girl Chahat Kumar (Chahat Kumar) is only eight months old, but she already weighs over 17 kg, and this is the average weight of a healthy four-year-old child.
Due to excess weight, doctors fear for the girl's health, and her parents cannot do anything, the baby has an incredibly large appetite, she eats four times more daily than an ordinary child of her age.
Chahat Kumar's parents live in the state of Punjab and believe that their daughter's huge appetite comes from God. The girl, meanwhile, already has big problems with breathing and sleep. It is also noted that when taking blood tests from the child, problems arose due to the thick skin and layer of fat.
The girl was born with a normal weight, but from about four months her appetite increased significantly.
- Her weight is growing day by day. It's not our fault, God gave her this. It's not in our hands and I feel bad when I hear people laugh at her and call her fat,”says 23-year-old Suraj Kumar, the girl's father.
21-year-old Rina, the girl's mother, lost her first child during childbirth and is now very afraid for the health of her second child.
- She eats all the time, and if we don't give her food, she starts crying. And she is already so fat that we cannot even carry her in our arms, we can only go out with her to places nearby.
Dr. Vasudev Sharma, who decided to treat the girl, admits that he has never seen anything like it before. He admits that they never got a normal blood test from the girl, as she has abnormally thick skin and a layer of fat underneath.
Dr. Sharma recommended that the family go to the city hospital, but the girl's family has no money for this. Dr. Sharma, meanwhile, is confident that the child's exorbitant appetite will lead to big problems.
- Her weight is increasing too quickly and she needs to be controlled and fed less. She is now consuming the same amount of food as a 10-year-old child.
