American scientists have found that babies see things that are inaccessible to adults, while they cannot explain what is happening. The research results appeared on foreign information sources.

Scientists have conducted research and found that children only three or four months old can see things that are inaccessible to the sight of an adult, but such a gift disappears over time without a trace after about five months. Scientists believe that such a vision of the world around is disappearing due to the fact that a person needs to adapt to the environment.

According to the Scientific American report, this process is called "perceptual persistence." Scientists are confident that with age, a person can lose numerous skills acquired so far in an incomprehensible way in infancy, the true cause of the loss also remains unknown.

In the December issue of a scientific publication called Current Biology, scientists conducted an experiment with 42 babies, as a result of which it turned out that children see strange and only understandable images, moreover, as mentioned above, such a tendency was observed only in four-month-old infants; at the onset of the fifth month of life, the process stops.

Scientists also believe that babies react in this way to the world around them, because all the things they see appear before children for the first time.
