Facebook user Fadhil Raikhan, who lives in Indonesia, recently shared an amazing story that quickly went viral and spread on social networks, and later on the Asian media

In September 2019, the Raikhan family adopted a fluffy ginger kitten, nicknamed Rambo. Growing up, the kitten became especially attached to Raikhan's father. He seemed to have a special bond with him.

The cat everywhere followed its master, wherever he went and slept only next to him. The owner reciprocated and personally bought food for Rambo. Curiously, before that, Raikhan's father did not like animals at all, including cats, and refused to have them at home.

By the end of 2019, Raikhan's father became very ill and died in early December. And the day after his death, Rambo also fell very ill. His body became hot, he lay in one place and did not eat or drink anything.

When prayers from the Koran began to be read in the house as part of the Muslim rite of farewell to the deceased, the cat felt a little better. According to Raikhan, he was lying and listening attentively, as if he understood what all these people were talking about. But when the ceremony was over, the cat took to his bed again.

Soon he became very weak, he began to lose weight and it was clear that if this continued further, the cat would soon die too. Raikhan's family took Rambo to the vet and there for two days he was given an IV and other treatment that kept his body alive.

However, this did not bring relief to the animal. The cat still remained lethargic and indifferent to everything.

The veterinarian said that the cat was not suffering from a physical illness, but from an emotional shock, that his body was physically completely healthy, but he simply lost his thirst for life.

And then Raikhan came up with the idea to take Rambo to the cemetery in order to show him the grave of his master and so that the cat could say goodbye to him in the same way as people did.

"When I brought him there, Rambo sat down and started looking around. And then he turned his head towards my father's tombstone and sat in this position while I and my relatives read prayers," Fadhil Raikhan writes.

When Raikhan left the cemetery with a cat in their arms, the cat still continued to look in the direction where its owner was located, and the whole Raikhan family saw this.

And when the cat was brought back home, he immediately began to eat, drink and soon began to recover! Now the cat is feeling fine.

According to Raikhan, animals have the same feelings as people and if they love someone, then they too can experience great grief if this person dies. And then you have to try to help them in the same way as if you were helping grieving people.
