The maize took off under scandalous circumstances: without the permission of the dispatcher, on Tuesday night, the commander and passengers were reportedly drunk and allegedly went fishing. But almost two days have passed, and there is no clue where the aircraft is.

They are already looking not only in the Sverdlovsk region, but also in Udmurtia and the Perm Territory. The Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was connected, a special group was sent from Moscow.

For the third day in the Safonov family, they cannot get through to the son of Anton and his wife. Young people are on the list of alleged participants in the flight of the missing AN-2. They did not warn their parents about the upcoming adventure.

Irina Safonova, mother of the missing Anton Safonov: “They can navigate, they are not there. Ours has been with his father since the age of 14, they are constantly in the woods. I don't know, we hope, of course. But so much time has already passed …"

They took to the air without notifying anyone or asking for permission. The commander of the aircraft, the guard of the landing site and a group of young people, presumably 7 people, including two girls. The cars of the air tourists remained standing at the gate of the landing site. Board 40312 belongs to the Orenburg airport, the Serov airline rented it in order to control the situation with forest fires in the north of the Sverdlovsk region. Another flight was planned that day, but after the rain it was decided to cancel it.

It is not known exactly where the participants in this unauthorized air walk were going. The search for the aircraft is further complicated by the fact that the flight took place over a terrain where it is impossible to establish contact with the dispatcher. But, judging by the amount of fuel in the tanks, it was unlikely that a long walk was planned.

The plane was half-filled, and the tanks had 700 liters of fuel. This means that the AN-2 could stay in the air for about three hours, i.e. flew during this time, a maximum of 500 km. Given that the direction of its flight is unknown, this is how the radius in which rescuers are currently searching on the map looks like.

Andrey Zalensky, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk Region: “A group of 120 people and 39 pieces of equipment was involved, plus 5 aircraft. We are working on all versions, we are working through municipalities, i.e. all chapters were tasked with checking their territory."

The glow from the burning wreckage of the plane was allegedly seen by residents of several settlements, and in different parts of the region. After the weekend, rescuers began to receive many similar messages. But so far none of them has been confirmed. It has not yet been possible to find the plane by instruments.

Andrey Zalensky, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk Region: “In general, there is a beacon there that must be turned on by a person. But it is not included. It does not turn on automatically, it is away from the pilot. It is designed to be turned on by either the co-pilot or the technician."

Relatives of air tourists continue to hope that the plane just landed somewhere abnormal. Relatives of Evgeny Premikhin are outraged by what they write about what happened on the Internet: “They just went for a ride, they said we’ll be at home in an hour or two. What is written there on the Internet is complete nonsense that they went hunting and fishing. They were in Slantsy”.

Rescuers are confident that the chances of finding the plane, its crew and passengers safe and sound, still remain. There are places with magnetic anomalies in the area, where no radios or telephones work, and it is not always possible to detect an aircraft from the air.
