New Zealand scientist will try to find DNA traces of unknown animals in water samples from Scottish Loch Ness.
Professor Neil Gemmel (Neil Gemmell) from the University of Otago in New Zealand is going to solve the problem of finding a mythical monster from the Scottish Loch Ness with DNA tests.
He is going to take water samples, and then look for traces of unknown DNA in them using the methods used by criminologists, reports NewsHub.
Gemmel says:
“All large organisms lose cells as they move through their environment. New genomic technologies are sensitive enough to detect them, and we can compare the found DNA fragments with those available in the databases, which have included most of the known living things.
If there was anything out of the ordinary in the lake, these DNA tools could provide evidence."
Sampling will be carried out already in 2017. British scientists have promised to help in this matter. However, in their opinion, it is not so important whether something will be found in the lake or not: this will not affect the views of the inhabitants.
Loch Ness monsteris essentially an urban legend. It tells that a large monster (similar to an ancient aquatic lizard) lives in the Scottish Loch Ness. The direction of research on the search for this mythical character belongs to the pseudoscience of cryptozoology.

Yeti Hate Dogs And Always Try To Kill Them On Occasion
In a previously published article on the search for a large baboon-like beast in Illinois in the 1940s, we mentioned a moment when something, most likely the same beast, brutally killed a farmer's dog. In fact, there are many such cases when the yeti mutilated or killed dogs. It seems that these Bigfoots, Sasquats and other Bigfoots, for some unknown reason, are extremely hateful to dogs.
