Almost from the first days of the emergence of ufology as a science, the search for extraterrestrial artifacts has become one of its most important directions. Since all observations of unidentified flying, floating and running objects are nothing without physical, material artifacts that you can touch with your hands and look under a microscope.

One of these artifacts almost immediately became the so-called angel hair - the white threads remaining after the landings of the alleged alien ships, however, unfortunately, very quickly these threads dissolve into the air without a trace.

Scientists from many countries of the world would offer a lot of money for samples of these threads, however, such copies are virtually isolated in the world.

Some of these unique artifacts are kept by the Russian researcher of anomalous phenomena, Director of the Russian Ufological Station Nikolai Subbotin … Nikolay agreed to share with our readers not only unique photographs of threads, but also to tell what kind of unknown force generates them.

Nikolay, tell us what it really is - "angel hair"?

The most valuable thing in the study of various anomalous phenomena is material traces and artifacts that can be investigated, analyzed, or simply presented as evidence of the existence of some yet unexplained phenomena.

These artifacts include "angel hair" - a strange jelly-like fibrous substance that falls to the ground in the form of long translucent filaments after UFO flights. Those who are lucky enough to hold them in their hands tell how quickly these threads melt, literally evaporating in the palm of your hand. You can save them only by quickly placing them in a plastic bag, depriving the flow of air.

But who gave them such a romantic name?

This phenomenon got its name in ancient times. Observing the flights of strange luminous objects, and then seeing how light fibers, very similar to hair, fall from the sky, eyewitnesses believed that they saw angels rushing in the heavens on fiery chariots and losing their locks in the wind - “the hair of angels”.

Are you saying that people have already observed this phenomenon in the Middle Ages?

Much earlier. The first mention of them can be found in a papyrus of the time of Pharaoh Thutmose III, which is kept in the collection of the director of the Egyptian department of the Vatican Museum and describes the following phenomenon: “In the year twenty-two, in the third month of winter, at 6 o'clock in the afternoon, the scribes of the House of Life saw a moving circle of fire in the sky. Its dimensions were one cubit long and one cubit wide. They fell on their faces and reported to Pharaoh, and he pondered over this event.

Over the course of several days, these objects in the sky became numerous and shone brighter than the sun. And Pharaoh, together with the army, looked at them. By evening, the fiery circles rose higher and moved towards the south … A volatile matter fell from the sky … This has not happened since the foundation of the Earth … And Pharaoh burned incense to the gods and ordered the incident to be recorded in the annals of the House of Life."

And what is the geography of this phenomenon, hair is observed in some specific countries of the world?

No, they are seen wherever the alleged UFO has landed. Eyewitnesses in different countries describe the angel's hair in different ways, often they are seen in the form of long fibers, sometimes a "web" falls from the sky, in other cases they talk about "foam" or "flakes". And the name of the phenomenon, as well as its geography, is different: the Americans call it "angel hair", the French call it "the children of the Madonna", the Italians call it "the hair of the Virgin Mary".

Tell us about the most interesting mass sightings of this phenomenon

In 1741, in several cities in England, numerous eyewitnesses recorded the fall of flakes or rags about one inch wide and about five to six inches long. On November 16, 1857, in Charleston (USA), instead of rain, a mass of a strange bristly substance with an unpleasant odor fell. This phenomenon was accompanied by the appearance in the night sky of mysterious luminous objects of enormous size.

One of the most unusual and large-scale sightings occurred in Milwaukee in 1881. Amazed observers talked about how the sky was covered with whole sheets of angel hair. Consequence description of this event appeared in the magazine "Scientific American": “At the end of October, people in Milwaukee (Wisconsin) and neighboring cities were very surprised when cobwebs fell from the sky on them. She seemed to be falling from a great height.

The same thing happened in Greenbay, and the cobwebs were carried from the side of the bay, only its size ranged from 18 meters long to small scraps, and as far as the eye could see, it was visible in the air. We observed such a fall of the web and in Wesburg and Fort Howard, Sheboygan and Ozauki.

In some places, the cobweb fell so tightly that it irritated the eyes. In all cases, it was white and sturdy. Strange, but none of the reports sent to us said anything about the presence of spiders in the web."

On September 20, 1892, entomologist George Marks personally observed the loss of a huge amount of angel hair in Gainesville, Florida, which he later wrote in a report: “The first time a spider was noticed in the morning. She floated in the air or fell from the clouds. I know people living at least 16 kilometers apart, and they all saw the same thing.

It sometimes fell in long stripes, like a spider web, up to 3000 meters long, folding into heaps … people saw huge flying sheets, they were brought by rain, and they resembled a large, pure white spider web, sometimes up to 50 meters long. In many places the trees were completely wrapped up. Near a small stream, about 100 meters from the house, there was a huge spider web, in other places it curled up into balls."

Angel hair is observed so often that for sure, not only you have their samples, scientific laboratories have somehow examined them?

Of course, similar studies have been carried out. The first analysis of an unusual substance was made in 1954. On October 27, 1954, Gennaro Lucetti and Pieto Lastrucci noticed two flying "luminous spindles" over St. Mark's Square in Venice, which left a trail of fire. The objects proceeded in the direction of Florence. At that time, there was a football match at one of the stadiums. But it had to be interrupted when more than 10,000 spectators, football players, referees, policemen noticed these unusual objects in the sky.

In nine minutes, this pair of UFOs flew over the city three times, and then unusual fibers, similar to hair, descended onto the football field. The substance melted in the hands, but one of the eyewitnesses, a student Alfredo Jacopozzi, guessed to put it in an airtight bag. Soon, the substance was transferred for analysis to a professor at the University of Florence, Giovanni Canerri. The analysis showed that “… it is a fibrous material that has significant tensile and twisting resistance.

When exposed to heat, it darkens and volatilizes, leaving a clear, melting precipitate. Analysis of the sediment also showed the content of boron, silicon, calcium and magnesium. Hypothetically, this substance could be something like boron-silicon glass."

I wonder if you know anything about the opinion of Soviet scientists about this phenomenon?

Most of the research was highly classified, but one can be told. In 1967, samples of angel hair with a volume of less than one tenth of a cubic centimeter were brought to the Soviet Union from New Zealand. However, the physicist-radiometer Leonid Kirichensko was able to carry out the analysis, he came to the conclusion that the substance provided “detects a fine-fibrous substance with a thickness of individual fibers less than 0.1 micron.

The bulk of the fibers are entangled into clumps or individual "strands" 20 microns thick. The fibers are white, translucent. The analyzed material is not analogous to any known formation."

Academician Petryanov-Sokolov, summing up the results of the study, said: "The sample is of interest as a very fine-fibrous substance and is hardly a natural compound."

What is your personal opinion, as a specialist, about the origin of this hair?

The fact is that the appearance of angel hair is not always associated with UFOs. In November 2006, a letter came to my email inbox from the United States from radio journalist Diraji, who is producing her own radio program, "The Way to Me" in North Carolina. Diraja invited me to take part in the "live broadcast", telling about the phenomenon of chemtrails.

And what is this chemtrail statement? Russian name for angel hair?

Not really. But this term perfectly explains the essence of this phenomenon. Seven years ago, I was the first in Russia who began to study this phenomenon, having introduced into ufological use the new term "chemtrails", which is now widely used. The essence of the phenomenon is that jet planes leave behind a white trail. Conventional exhaust lanes left by aircraft dissipate quickly, are not long enough, and depend on the operating conditions of the engines. Chemotrails usually expand continuously, gradually turning into stratus clouds consisting of many rings.

Are you saying that angel hair is concentrated exhaust from aircraft engines?

Right, no. The chemtrails are not the usual exhaust from aircraft engines that we see every day. There are quite definite differences in the nature of the formation, development and behavior of these phenomena, which make it possible to draw a clear boundary between them.

Conventional aircraft exhaust consists of tiny ice crystals that form at altitudes over 10.5 km. At lower altitudes, they simply cannot form regardless of the type and speed of the aircraft. At altitudes over 10.5 km, the exhaust appears as thin pointed lines if the observer looks vertically upward, perpendicular to the position of the aircraft. They usually evaporate within a minute and very rarely extend far enough behind the aircraft.

Then what are the chemtrails?

The airborne chemtrails have been observed at altitudes ranging from 2,700 to 11,000 meters. They often form at altitudes below 10,000 meters. Conventional exhaust cannot form at this height. Therefore, the observation of emissions below 10,000 meters is most likely a chemtrail. They often appear as large smoke trails that tend to get wider and denser over time.

They do not evaporate or lose density. Parallel chemtrails can merge into large cirrus clouds within a few hours. Very often, chemtrails resemble a fish ridge in shape, consisting of many rounded joints. After the appearance of the chemtrail, the blue sky seems to be mottled with spider webs.

Then it can turn cloudy and even gray. According to many researchers, this is the result of secret experiments that fulfill several goals: from the creation of new radar systems to biological experiments on the population.

Have you shared your observations with other researchers?

Yes, we discussed with Diraje the topic of chemtrails, and she even released a pilot program on American radio. Some time passed, and she herself became a witness of this phenomenon. Here's what she told me: “… It was in North Carolina, the city of Asheville. One sunny morning, at the beginning of October, I went outside to get some fresh air. I love looking at the sky, and this time I did not miss this moment.

The planes flew very high, and I could not make out what kind of models they were.

I was very saddened by the lines that look like scars all over the sky!

I sat down on the grass, closed my eyes and … asked the Universe to give me an answer to what is happening in Heaven, why and by what right this disgrace occurs in the form of white scars that do not disappear for hours.

Returning to my business, I put aside all these thoughts.

Going out into the street, a couple of hours later, I looked up again. All the same white scars that covered the sky with continuous stripes…. There were no planes anywhere!

The weather was unusually calm. As if an invisible force led my gaze in a certain direction and stopped me. Right in front of my eyes, a white thread-like substance hung smoothly, leaning on nothing, neither falling nor rising up!

Looking around, I did not see anything hanging in the air. A woman was passing by and I asked her if she saw this substance in the air. "Yes," she said, "What is this?" I replied that I do not know, but it is very similar to Chemtrails.

I had a plastic bag at hand and, taking this substance in my hands, quickly put it in the bag. Moreover, this substance seemed to melt on my hand. However, while inside the package, nothing happened to it. What was it - a spider web of an unusual kind or a substance from chemopaths? Only you Nick can answer this question. To tell you the truth, Nick, before and after this incident, I have never seen anything like this (I mean this cobweb-like substance, which may be "Angel Hair").

Since then, for about a month, the sky has remained clear. Only occasionally did planes fly over and leave trails that quickly evaporated. However, quite recently, somewhere on November 3-4, for two days in a row, the whole sky again enveloped these scars, not leaving the Sky all day. And AGAIN - planes only occasionally appeared in the sky. Today, November 7, the rain pours all day without stopping. Who knows, maybe this is caused by these chemtrails?

I am waiting for a response to the results of the analysis, which will give me at least the opportunity to see that - is it all just my imagination, or are we all actually under the strict control of those who run large corporations? What is the most surprising and incomprehensible to me is how people ignore this phenomenon!"

Does this mean that angel hair can also appear in conjunction with the phenomenon of chemtrails, or are they still different phenomena?

There is another letter in my archive that confirms this fact.

“Hello Nikolay!

I observed such phenomena on 12.09.2001. From morning until 14-15 o'clock, an airplane flew on the eastern side of the sky and after a short period of time a white trail appeared behind it, which gradually expanded and did not disappear for a long time. The plane turned around and flew in the opposite direction, leaving behind exactly the same non-disappearing trail. These footprints accumulated and turned into stratus clouds. I wondered why the airplane contrail lasted so long (I saw white, stratus clouds on the eastern side of the sky almost all day before dark), although the flights stopped after lunch.

It never occurred to me that the plane was spraying something. This took place the day after the terrorist attack on the United States and all services, as announced by radio and TV, were on high alert. I live in the north of the Volgograd region in the city of Zhirnovsk, and it is not too far from us to Chechnya. Therefore, I thought that these flights are associated with increased vigilance.

After about 2-3 days, a spider web of an unusual appearance appeared. The fibers are very thick and long. This cobweb was noticed by many, since there were a lot of it, it is found literally everywhere, in fields, in forests, in settlements. I also joked with friends about a web of this size: "Judging by the web, the spider was about my height and my complexion!" Now I understood with the help of your mailing list what kind of "spider" it is and what size it is! I think the consequences will not be long in coming!

Goodbye!

Respectfully yours, Vasily.

It turns out that the hair of an angel has nothing to do with green men, but is not a known chemical that remains after the overflights of new military aircraft? In that case, where did you get a sample of this substance?

It is hard to say. Most likely, this substance is formed after flights of special design aircraft in the atmosphere. After all, if we assume that these are military experiments, then the logical question would be, where did these aircraft come from in ancient Egypt and medieval Europe? And I received from Diraj, who was able to send me this unusual substance, surprisingly similar in appearance to the hair of an angel seen during UFO flights.

Using a digital microscope at 200x magnification, I took several pictures that allow me to see in detail the structure of this substance. Analysis shows that in the hair of the angel, which are formed as a result of the appearance of chemtrails and UFOs, barium salts are present.

Lately in Hollywood sci-fi horror films, aliens taking over Earth usually spit in white threads that look like "angel hair" in your description. Do you think observing and storing this hair is dangerous for the observer?

I will not be original if I say that when observing UFOs and any phenomena connected with them, it is best to leave this place as soon as possible and report this to the authorities. As for the hair of an angel, it should be added that after observing strange traces, people became aggravated by chronic diseases.

Many witnesses have noted the fall from the sky of a cobweb-like substance. Laboratory analysis of the samples that were obtained showed the presence of biological agents such as: Pseudomonas Fluorescens, Streptomyces and a rare enzyme used to create viruses. A virus specialist with 20 years of research experience has discovered a rare influenza V2 virus that can usually only be found in a laboratory. Conventional airplane exhaust has presented researchers with more mysteries than UFOs.
