Something smells bad in Haiti. And it's not just the smell of decaying corpses or buildings destroyed by the terrible earthquake that struck the country last week

On January 19 this year, the Spanish news agency EFE broadcast a chilling message citing a report prepared by specialists from the Russian Northern Fleet. A report from the Northern Fleet claims that the earthquake that left Haiti in ruins was the result of a "weapon" test carried out by the US Navy. These "weapons" can cause earthquakes and are planned to be used against Iran, in order to thereby provoke the fall of the Islamic regime.

According to a report released by the EFE, the Russian naval report is based on monitoring the US Navy's operations in the Caribbean following the recent reopening of their 4th Fleet. Since the late 1970s, the report reveals that the United States has stepped up its development of earthquake-causing weapons and now has at its disposal equipment developed with the latest technology using electromagnetic waves, as well as bombs that create shock waves. In addition, the system known as the HAARP project will also allow causing abnormal climatic phenomena: floods, droughts, hurricanes.

The Spanish agency clarifies: “The report also compares two tests of this weapon conducted by the US Navy last week. The test in the Pacific Ocean caused an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 in the vicinity of the town of Eureka (California), but did not lead to casualties. As for the test in the Caribbean, it resulted in the deaths of at least 140,000 innocent people."

The EFE points out that, according to a report from the Russian Northern Fleet, it is "more than likely" that the US Navy had "full understanding" of the catastrophic consequences that the test would have on Haiti.

At the moment, Washington has sent 10,000 troops to Haiti not only to provide humanitarian assistance, but also to use military force to subjugate the country. To this end, the United States unilaterally declared Haiti a failed state, where it is necessary to introduce external control.

"Aid should be provided, not an occupation of Haiti," warned Alain Joynanet, Secretary of State for Cooperation, after having traveled to Port-au-Prince and faced obstacles by the US military (and they his control of the international airport in the capital of Haiti) landing of two French planes with humanitarian aid.

In this sense, France has joined Venezuela and Nicaragua in asking the United Nations to clearly define the nature of the current American presence in Haiti.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez sharply criticized the militaristic focus of the humanitarian efforts being made by the United States: “There is no need to send troops … What Haiti really needs now are doctors. Obama, the people of Haiti do not need money, but food, drinking water and medicine. Venezuela and Cuba each sent a team of doctors and rescuers to Haiti.

The Venezuelan government, in cooperation with Russia, organized a solidarity air bridge for Haiti. For this purpose, Moscow provided two Il-76 cargo aircraft with a carrying capacity of 40 tons each. In addition, Chavez pledged to "supply the people of Haiti with the necessary amount of fuel."
