What exactly happened the other day in a small Kenyan hospital is still difficult to say. Was there really an incredible resurrection from the dead, or was it medical negligence? The patient himself believes that it was God who brought him back to life

"The autopsy showed that the patient died from the autopsy," the joke is old, black, and rather funny. However, sometimes something similar happens in reality, as happened the other day in Kenya. And the victim was not at all laughing.

32-year-old from Kenya Peter Keegen On November 24, 2020, he passed out at home. He suffered from an unnamed stomach ailment and may have had an exacerbation of the disease.

When his family called an ambulance and she brought him to the Kapkatet hospital in the district of Kericho, he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead, as he had all the signs of this (which ones are not specified).

Keegen's body was transported to the morgue room and left there for three hours before the morgue workers were supposed to come and start the embalming procedure.

When they arrived, Keegen's body still looked completely dead. Then one of the workers began to cut Keegen's leg to inject formalin into the tissues of the body, and only then the man suddenly woke up and began to move, moan and cry in pain.

The workers of the morgue were terribly frightened, deciding that they were in front of a zombie or something other supernatural, and hastened to leave the morgue.

But then it dawned on them that it could be a medical error, they returned and took Keegen to the intensive care unit. Later, when it became clear that nothing threatened his life, the patient was transferred to a regular ward.

Now Peter Keegen willingly gives interviews to journalists and says that he is incredibly happy that he has come to life, and that now he will devote his life to serving God. His family, meanwhile, accuses the hospital of medical negligence, not believing in the miracle of resurrection from the dead, but believing in the mistakes of the staff.

Hospital Superintendent Gilbert Cheruyot, meanwhile, stated that Keegen was in critical condition when he was brought in and that his family were convinced that he had already died.

"They did not even wait for the moment of confirmation of death, and then they themselves helped to take him to the morgue," Cheruyot said.

He also said that Keegen was in a satisfactory condition and that in a few days he might already be discharged.
