Sometimes in pictures, mostly taken with inexpensive digital "soap dishes", mysterious translucent balls appear, invisible to the naked eye. They range in diameter from a few centimeters to half a meter or more. Color - white, bluish, green, pink, yellow or golden. Most often they are called orbs (from the English orb - "ball"), or plasmoids.
And they do not necessarily have a spherical shape, sometimes taking very bizarre outlines. What it is, no one knows for sure. There are many versions, some of which we will consider today.
Version one: shooting error
One day my employee (I was then the editor of a large-circulation newspaper) returned from a business trip in a very agitated state.
- Take a look at my pictures! he exclaimed from the doorway. - It's fantastic! This is a discovery that turns our understanding of the world around us!
The correspondent showed photographs taken on board the dry cargo ship. Regular shots: the captain in the wheelhouse, the sailors on the deck, but … In almost every frame, human figures were surrounded by some strange formations in the form of white translucent balls with a diameter of about 3-4 centimeters. Their number was not the same: from two or three to ten.
- These are energetic entities that are not perceived by the naked eye! - the correspondent squealed categorically.
- Entities, you say? - the executive secretary, a great master of photography, grunted. - Give me a camera.
After carefully examining the lens, he said:
- Everything is clear with you, young man. Was the weather rainy, windy?
- Yes.
- Therefore, microscopic splashes hit the lens. When dry, they left specks on the lens. When the reflected light hits them from the side, these very spherical outlines with a halo are obtained. So no mysticism, the lens should be wiped more often!
- Well, how then can you explain that these balls are located in different places of the frames and their number is not the same? - the correspondent did not give up.
Our ace could not give a clear answer to this question.
Unfortunately, I cannot demonstrate those photographs from a dry cargo ship, years ago. But here are two photos taken almost simultaneously, immediately one after another, from the same place, with the same exposure. And the location and number of "orbs" on them are different.
Currently, you can find many photographs on the Internet showing similar objects. Most often, scientists and professional photographers try to explain the appearance of these globular formations in the frame by the shooting error, assuming that these are drops of dirt on the lens, dust or internal reflections on the lenses.
They argue that such photographs with luminous balls are obtained most often on simple inexpensive digital cameras with not very high-quality optics, more often when the camera shutter speed is set to very sensitive night photography, or when shooting with a flash, or in low-light backgrounds.
The appearance of orbs in photographs is determined by the design of small cameras ("soap boxes"), which have a small lens and a flash located just above the lens. When shooting, the flash illuminates dust particles (which are always enough in the air, both indoors and outdoors).
These dust particles, located directly in front of the "soap dish" optics, reflect light back into the lens and, being out of focus, become spherical spots in the photo. Just 10 centimeters from the lens is enough! Precisely because they are out of focus, they will not represent anything but balls.
But how then to explain the fact that orbs sometimes appear when shooting with professional cameras? After all, professionals regularly take care of their expensive optics, keep them clean. Besides, in professional cameras the lens is large enough and the focal length is longer than in “soap dishes”. A flash in front of the lens of a professional camera illuminates dust particles in the same way, but they should not fall into the field of view of the lens.
Nevertheless, professional equipment sometimes records spherical anomalies. Moreover, the orbs appear not only in front of the photographed objects, but also behind them, and sometimes even partially overlap them. That is, in these cases, the dust particles are not to blame. So you can't blame everything on the imperfection of the photographic equipment and the shooting error. It is not that simple.
Version two: energetic entities
According to one of the hypotheses, in parallel with our biological evolution, the evolution of energetic creatures is taking place on Earth. Moreover, in terms of their diversity, energetic beings are not inferior to the animal world. But the subtle, energetic world is invisible to the inhabitants of our physical world, and the physical world is invisible to the inhabitants of the energetic world.
Entities cannot see a person as he is, since they are only able to perceive the radiation of our body and aura. Therefore, we appear before them in the form of some luminous ellipses of rotation. And we can see them in the form of luminous balls only with the help of our cameras, which display the infrared region of the spectrum invisible to the eye.

But there are also such energetic entities that make up a symbiosis with a person. They not only take energy, but also share their own, and also protect their donor from energy aggressors. And some inhabitants of the subtle world have nothing to do with man at all.
More often than usual, energetic entities appear at the sites of geomagnetic anomalies, in the areas of faults in the earth's crust; in places of disasters, especially in the event of mass loss of life; in cemeteries, both old and new, where burials continue; in the so-called places of power associated with the presence of ancient cult objects - temples, sacred groves, temples; in occultly unfavorable places, for example, where there was a murder (suicide), where dark rituals are held; in places where mass events are accompanied by the release of a large amount of energy, for example at rock and pop concerts; in the immediate vicinity of any person with some positive or negative characteristics, as well as being in an altered state of consciousness. That is, where you can "feed".
Orb types
Energetic entities captured in many photos differ in structure and color. Most often, silver translucent balls with one or more eye centers are photographed. Such entities are, rather, not participants in energy exchange, but peculiar observers who find interest in being present in a certain space-time interval.
Milky-white orbs with a low transparency index and a poorly distinguishable energy center are quite strong vampiric structures that pose a serious danger to human energy.
Rainbow-white orbs with a low transparency and a peephole located strictly in the center, apparently, are essences - spirits of nature. They are recorded precisely when shooting outdoors; on hikes, on picnics …
The most dangerous are crimson-red orbs, which are energy clots of essences of the "lower world". Their introduction into the energy envelope of a person leads to severe forms of obsession, accompanied by mental inadequacy, auditory and visual hallucinations. Entities of this type are strong enough, resourceful and dangerous. They are able to partially or completely control a person, influencing all spheres of life and areas of perception.
Finally, there are golden balls, usually of a rather large size (10 centimeters and more), without a visible center, but with a clearly visible halo, which sometimes has rather long separate rays. Orbs of this type are almost always tied to a specific person. They perform a certain protective function, protecting the biofield of their ward from the influence of aggressor entities.
There are many more hypotheses about what these balls are in photographs. But none of them can yet thoroughly explain this amazing phenomenon.
