According to the supporters of this theory, such worlds interact and repel each other.

A number of researchers propose to imagine a world where dinosaurs are not extinct and many things familiar to us simultaneously exist in the opposite guise. They argue that such worlds can exist in parallel universes and interact with each other. Details are given by the Daily Mail.

This opinion is shared by scientists from Griffith University (Australia) and the University of California (USA). Despite the fact that the announced theory is more like science fiction, the researchers hope that it will help in solving a number of problems of quantum mechanics.

Unlike previous versions, scientists now admit the possibility of the existence of a limited, but at the same time colossal number of universes with certain properties, existing in time constantly without the so-called branching. They believe that every world is real to the same extent, and inter-world interaction is a source of quantum effects.

In their opinion, the influence can be observed when the worlds are "repulsed" from each other. The researchers said that probability can be included in the theory only because the observer in a particular world does not know exactly where he was fortunate enough to be.

According to the new theory, if there was only one world, its development would take place in strict accordance with Newtonian mechanics. Scientists themselves believe that their work should be considered more an approach than an interpretation. At the same time, the authors of the study admit: their version is criticized, since it turns out that none of the other influences our world.

The idea of many worlds is first encountered in the work of Hugh Everett. The term “many-worlds” was coined by Bryce DeWitt, who developed the topic of Everett's dissertation
