This story took place in the 1930s in the countryside of Armenia. A strange man in long white clothes met a girl in the forest who came here, unable to endure the terrible pain any longer. And he cured her, but forbade her to talk about him

This unusual story was told yesterday on Reddit by user "NorthEndGoon206". It happened almost 100 years ago in a rural area of Armenia.

The story happened to the great-grandmother of this user, she was 10 years old in the 1930s and she lived in a village located a few hours away from Yerevan.

She was very ill and suffered from severe abdominal pain. The village doctor could not understand what was wrong with her. It got to the point that her parents decided to go to Yerevan in the hope of finding a doctor in a good hospital who could help. their daughters.

When they brought their daughter to Yerevan and took her to the city doctor, he examined her and said that he had never encountered something so strange before. He did not find any signs of inflammation in the girl, the medications and treatments that were prescribed to her earlier by another doctor did not help her, and she rarely went to the toilet.

These were the 1930s in the Soviet Union, and therefore the level of medicine was far from the same as it is now. Therefore, after the failure in the city, the parents and their daughter returned back to their village and then the girl became worse, her pain intensified.

It was very difficult for her and her family, and her parents had already begun to prepare for the fact that the girl would die and they would have to bury her.

Once she felt so bad that my young great-grandmother decided to go into the forest without telling anyone about it. She wanted to die in the forest, laying hands on herself. When she got to the place where she wanted to do it, it hurt so much that she fell to the ground.

That's when things get really weird. She was lying and saw that a tall man in a long white robe was approaching her. She could not get up from the pain. He approached her and asked "Where is your pain?" She gestured to her belly.

The man started rubbing her belly and then said, "If you tell anyone that you saw me, there will be bad things. You cannot tell anyone about me." And then he disappeared.

Some believe that the girl met Jesus Christ.

When my great-grandmother woke up, her abdominal pains suddenly disappeared. She went home to her village and all the residents were amazed to see that she was walking normally and no longer suffering from pain. Her parents believed that it was God who answered their prayers. Great-grandmother did not tell anyone about the man from the forest.

Now fast forward 70 years into 2001. My great-grandmother was then already over 80 years old. She spent her whole life not telling anyone about that incident. She lived in Moscow, Russia, with my grandmother, who was then 52 years old.

Once, my great-grandmother did share this story with my grandmother and grandmother's older sister. And that same night, just a few hours later, she suffered a stroke in her sleep and died.

When I was 7 years old, my family was already living in the USA, we moved to Seattle from Russia when I was 4 years old. I don't remember my great-grandmother, I was too little then, but I know this story from my grandmother.

Who was the man in the white coat? If not for him, my great-grandmother would most likely have committed suicide and I would not have been born. I don't believe in spirits or otherworldly beings, but I think a lot about this story and my grandmother does too."
