When I first saw this chair, it felt like any other expensive black ergonomic office chair. But after a few days I found out that it has a dark secret

Scary Director Chair - Office, Chair, Chair, Singapore, Feng Shui, Energy

This story was told by a woman named Dante Wongwho previously worked in Singapore. It was posted on Quora a few months ago.

Several years ago, Wong came to work in Singapore for an unnamed computer development company. When she walked into the part of the office where the director's desk stood, they had a short and positive conversation and they shook hands.

Then the director gave her a short tour of the work office and introduced her to future colleagues, who turned out to be very friendly. It was then that Wong noticed that the entire office was decorated with various feng shui items.

She herself does not really believe in such a practice, but she knew enough about it to determine that even the tables in the office were arranged in Feng Shui and the plants were in strictly defined places. And there were also mirrors on the walls, bells, a collection of expensive watches, animal figurines, figurines, crystals, and so on.

A couple of days later, colleagues told Wong that the director and his wife are big fans of feng shui and do not spare money for the correct layout. But then Wong ran into one woman who had worked in this office the longest. And she shared with her a strange secret of the director's office:

“He really doesn't like it when someone sits in his chair,” the woman said in a low voice, almost in a whisper.

This small office did not have separate executive offices, but each had its own desk and chair. Sitting in someone else's chair during discussions or meetings was not accepted, but this rule was regularly violated, since meetings were often held - the director loved "brainstorming".

No one saw anything wrong with this, so Wong asked the employee why the director didn't like it so much that they were sitting in his chair. And it seemed to her very strange that before answering, the employee looked around closely so that there was no one nearby who could hear their conversation.

It turned out that there was no one in the office except for the two of them, since everyone had already left for lunch. And then she said, "This is a very bad thing. Never sit on it." Then she fell silent and refused to give other explanations.

Wong was alarmed by her words, especially since this woman worked here the longest and was clearly not joking. However, something inside her opposed this and, on the contrary, pushed her to go to the director's table and sit down at his chair.

Once she waited for the moment when there was no other employee in the office, all of them had already gone home, and her curiosity overstepped all barriers. She really wanted to go and sit in that chair to understand why it scared that woman so much.

Wong crept over to the director's desk and examined his chair. Outwardly, it was no different from an ordinary office chair on wheels, except that it was more expensive than ordinary employee chairs and had a wide back with good support.

It's just a chair, she thought, and sat down in it. The chair was very comfortable. Several seconds passed. "This is the most common cr …" - Wong managed to think and then it all started.

Her head suddenly seemed to be filled with lead, a feeling of discomfort arose in her stomach and began to diverge to other parts of her body. Wong felt severe nausea and instantly jumped out of the chair. She felt as if she had ate sugary sweet cheap candy. She felt very dizzy and wanted to lie down.

Wong groaned and collapsed onto a small sofa against the wall. Each movement of the body was given to her with difficulty, she was lethargic, and then, as if a part of her jumped up, towards the ceiling, and now she was looking down at her body.

Her forehead and hands were wet with sweat, and her temples were pounding. And so she lay for about 15-20 minutes. Only then it became easier for her and she was able to get to her feet. The nausea was gone.

Wong gazed intently at the director's chair, but then decided that there were things she'd better never know about. She returned to her desk, packed her things and went home.

The next day, she was sure that the director was looking at her and smiling at her much more often than usual. And he got another expensive watch. She also thought that he knew everything about her wrongdoing, but he never told her about it.

"I never told the old employee about what I did. And I still don't understand what happened that evening. And I don't think I want to know about it. But this inexplicable thing is forever imprinted in my memory."
