Yeti are so different from the usual inhabitants of forests and mountains that many researchers have versions that they came here from somewhere from another world - another reality, another dimension, etc. Or maybe from another planet?
Although the term "Bigfoot" only appeared in the 1950s, these creatures had been encountered many centuries before.
A lot of stories about such "hairy people" came from the Native Americans who inhabited the forests, valleys and mountains of the United States.
Some of these stories are very ancient and originated in the era when the ancestors of these Indians were just beginning to populate the American continent. In their legends and myths, these hairy humanoid creatures were often called "giants covered with wool."
At the same time, many of these myths indicated that these "giants" are actually something special. These are not people or animals, not some unidentified North American monkey, but something from another world, alien to the usual earthly nature.
Maybe even then people noticed that the yeti are somehow connected with UFOs and maybe they came to Earth from other planets.
According to The Native Languages website, the Bigfoot figure is familiar to the folklore of most Native American tribes from the northwest of the country. Legends describe these creatures as 2-3 meters tall, very muscular, covered with hair from head to toe, uncivilized and often very foul-smelling.
They live in forests and mostly go out for walks at night. They may become invisible, but the Indians have always considered them to be real physical creatures of flesh and blood, not spirits of the forest or ghosts.
"In the myths about Bigfoot, these sasquatchi can steal things, kidnap human women, but they almost never hurt people and sometimes even came to their aid.
For some tribes, the Bigfoot was the guardian of nature, presented as a good-natured creature who had his own families and who could give gifts to people. But other tribes described them as evil monsters that attack people, steal small children, and can even eat people."
The most dangerous were the hairy giants known as "Stick Indians" or "Bush Indians". They were very aggressive and often lived in large communities, building from stones and branches something like huts in the woods.
There is one story that directly links North American Yeti to aliens. It was published in the explorer's book Brad Steiger and he learned about her from a certain James Wyatt of Memphis, Tennessee. Wyatt himself, who is a local Indian, in turn learned about this story from the surviving diary of his grandfather.
It happened in 1888 in the northwest of California. One day, Wyatt's grandfather saw his fellow tribesman walking somewhere with a plate of raw meat. He was surprised and asked where he was carrying this meat. At first, the tribesman did not want to say anything, but then he nevertheless made up his mind and told Wyatt's grandfather to follow him.
They followed a hidden path through the rocks and came to a secluded cave. There was a huge hairy creature inside that looked like a cross between an animal and a human. Wyatt's grandfather froze at the sight of him, but the tribesman calmly approached the creature and gave him a plate of raw meat. The creature began to eat this meat obediently and with enthusiasm.
After that, the tribesman told Wyatt's grandfather a detailed story about this creature. He said that he gave him the nickname "Crazy Bear" and that the creature was transported to the woods from the stars. Once an object appeared over the forest, like a small moon, and from there appeared these hairy creatures who were expelled from their world.
According to the tribesman, the "little moon" was piloted by the same hairy giants, and when they "threw off" their exiled congeners to the Earth, they noticed that several frightened Indians were watching them, and then waved their paws.
When James Wyatt told this story to Brad Steiger, he reasonably remarked that, in his opinion, these hairy creatures could be banished to our planet for some crime committed in their world, as if they were imprisoned.
