Eating octopuses alive is a very specific and dangerous Korean tradition.

In South Korea, there is a dish called San-nakji, which is made from a live octopus by cutting it into pieces so that the cut pieces of tentacles can move reflexively. After that, pieces of the body of the octopus are only lightly sprinkled with sesame seeds and served on the table.

The danger is represented by suckers on the tentacles of the octopus. If swallowed, they can stick to the walls of the larynx and cause death by suffocation. Almost every year people die while trying to eat sannakchi.

Sometimes for the sannakchi the octopus is not even cut into pieces, but served whole, and then eating it without harming oneself is an even more difficult task. However, what can't you do for the sake of likes on social networks. A young Chinese woman decided to eat a live octopus on camera and almost paid with her skin.

First, she brings the octopus to her face and calmly tells her audience, "Look how difficult it is for him to suck." But then, in horror, he realizes that he still sucked in and it is not so easy to remove it.

The girl starts screaming in fear and pain and shouts out "I can't take it away!" The octopus stuck to her skin so hard, especially around the eye, that it seemed to tear it. And when the girl finally manages to get rid of his suckers, she finds a bleeding wound on her cheek and cries that her face is "disfigured".

This video quickly spread on social networks and people still argue whether it was an accident or whether the girl deliberately risked her skin in order to still collect likes and views. She successfully succeeded in the latter.
